The shooting took place May 24, when a gunman fatally shot 19 young students and two teachers inside a classroom before authorities breached the door more than an hour later — after waiting in a school hallway.
Burrows is prohibited from releasing the 77-minute “hallway” video of the law enforcement response because he signed a non-disclosure agreement with Texas Department of Public Safety, he said on Twitter on Friday.

New changes coming to Pennsylvania medical marijuana law

PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) — A new bill is proposing changes to the current medical marijuana laws in Pennsylvania.

Currently, the Commonwealth has a zero-tolerance policy for anyone driving with THC (the psychoactive chemical in marijuana) in their system.

However, advocates for Senate Bill 167 say that even when the intoxicating effects of marijuana wear off, THC remains in the body for much longer. Meaning even if a driver is not intoxicated at the time of a drug test, they can still test positive for THC.

Senate Bill 167, sponsored by State Sen. Camera Bartolotta (Beaver/Greene/Washington), would require “proof of impairment”, just like with many other prescription medications.

Santana’s Pittsburgh concert postponed after musician collapses onstage in Michigan | TribLIVE.com

Santana’s Wednesday show at the Pavilion at Star Lake has been postponed after the group’s leader Carlos Santana collapsed onstage Tuesday in Michigan. The 74-year-old musician was hospitalized with heat exhaustion and dehydration. A representative told USA Today that Santana is being held for observation and is doing well.

Santana’s manager Micheal Vrionis updated fans on the artist’s official Facebook page Tuesday, explaining Santana had been transported from the Pine Knob Music Theatre, about 40 miles northwest of Detroit, to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkson in Clarkston, Mich.

The show in Pittsburgh — co-billed with Earth, Wind & Fire as the Miraculous Supernatural Tour — will be rescheduled to a later date and more details will be available through Live Nation, Vrionis said.

It’s the second time the show has been postponed. The two acts were set to play Star Lake on Aug. 5, 2020, but that tour was canceled because of covid.

Law firm accuses Allegheny Common Pleas judge of misconduct in 62 complaints | Pittsburgh City Paper

A local public interest law firm has filed 62 complaints against a county judge, who it accuses of “impatient, undignified, and discourteous” behavior and bias against Black men, older people, and people with mental or behavioral health issues.

Dolly Prabhu, an attorney with the Abolitionist Law Center who filed the complaints, says the misconduct allegations come from reports compiled by a group of mostly-volunteer court watchers who observed Judge Mariani in his courtroom for more than a year.

DARYA KHARABI

“Impatient, undignified, and discourteous”

Almost every complaint alleges “impatient, undignified and discourteous behavior towards defendants,” which, the complaints allege led to the violation of defendants’ right to be heard in court.

The complaints report dozens of incidents of Mariani shouting at defendants, refusing them the right to speak, and telling defendants he doesn’t believe them. Several complaints involve Mariani allegedly mocking and laughing at defendants. Prabhu also tells City Paper that court watcher reports indicate Mariani will often “scream for several minutes straight.”
