Hunter Biden’s laptop keeps damning Joe, but most media just ignore it

Hunter Biden’s laptop continues to yield damning information that shows his dad, President Joe Biden, played a significant and knowing role in his son’s sleazy influence-peddling. And while the media efforts to pretend these revelations are nothing but “Russian disinformation” have ceased, The Post’s scoops still get ignored by outlets that would be all over them if they were about the Trump family.

The latest, of course, is the photographic evidence that then-Veep Joe attended an April 16, 2015, dinner with shady Ukrainian, Russian and Kazakh “businessmen” and even posed for photos with the unseemly guests.

To put some face-saving cover on the event in the private “Garden Room” at Café Milano, a posh Georgetown eatery (“Where the world’s most powerful people go,” run its promos), Hunter billed it as “ostensibly to discuss food security,” as he e-mailed one guest, and invited several officials from the World Food Program.

But the beards were outnumbered by the likes of corrupt former Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov (hubby of Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina, who’d paid one of Hunter’s firms $3.5 million the year before), Kazakh oligarch Kenes Rakishev, Karim Massimov (a former prime minister of Kazakhstan) and Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Pittsburgh woman facing multiple charges after shooting at 4 women who attacked her – WPXI

FAIRVIEW, Pa. — A Pittsburgh woman is facing attempted homicide and assault charges after police said that she shot at four women who attacked her.

The incident happened on May 19, 2021, at approximately 5:35 p.m.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on Belleau Drive in Fineview. When they arrived at the scene, they spoke with women who said they were shot at while driving.

Officers learned from video surveillance that Quayona Wilson, 25, of Pittsburgh, was walking down Belleau Drive and stopping at a car to take children out of it. When the car left, a brown Hyundai Tucson drove down the street and stopped in front of Wilson.

Four women then got out of the car and ran toward Wilson to attack her, according to a criminal complaint.

After kicking her head and body, they then run back to the car. Wilson got up off the ground and slammed her hand into the window of the car as it drove away.

Police said that Wilson then took a gun and fired multiple shots at the car. The driver of the car then backed the car up, turned it around and headed straight for Wilson.

She tried to move out of the way, but her right leg got ran over.

The car then drove on the sidewalk as another woman was shooting at it. When the driver passed by Wilson while leaving the area, Wilson fired additional rounds at them.

It’s unclear at this time if anyone else will be charged.

Greensburg’s Oliver’s Pourhouse back in business after 14-month closure | TribLIVE.com

Oliver’s will operate with limited hours and a limited menu for now. Current hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Owners Roy and Natalie Bodnar are looking to hire about five more people.

“Right now, with our new staff and our limited staff, we’re trying to find the best way to get back into the swing by limiting the menu to our most popular items, until we get comfortable cooking them and then we can, hopefully, bring back our full menu and full hours of operation,” Roy Bodnar said.

Customer favorites like the Pittsburgh-style chicken salad, nachos and full burger lineup are available. They’ll have a limited number of draft beers available, focusing more on bottled beers until they feel customers are comfortable drinking from glasses again.

“Once we get back to our full hours, we’re happily going back to our old menu,” Natalie Bodnar said. “Maybe we’ll keep some old items and add some new. Since we have some new chefs with us, we’d like to give them some opportunity to be creative.”

Oliver’s closed on March 16, 2020. The Bodnars hoped to reopen on May 19, the anniversary of the restaurant opening in 2011, but needed a little more time to get ready.

They also own Robokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi in Greensburg and Wexford, which remained open for takeout throughout the pandemic.

It wasn’t financially feasible to operate Oliver’s under pandemic restrictions, Roy Bodnar said.

Space Debris Has Hit And Damaged The International Space Station

It was only a matter of time…

The inevitable has occurred. A piece of space debris too small to be tracked has hit and damaged part of the International Space Station – namely, the Canadarm2 robotic arm.

The instrument is still operational, but the object punctured the thermal blanket and damaged the boom beneath. It’s a sobering reminder that the low-Earth orbit’s space junk problem is a ticking time bomb.

Massive Move: After Official Vote, County District Attorney’s Office Asked to Investigate Dominion Over Election ‘Errors’

A Pennsylvania county will investigate after machines from Dominion failed to display ballots for Republican voters during a recent primary.

Election integrity is again the topic of conversation in a Pennsylvania county that has seen its share of irregularities since the Nov. 3 election.

A May 18 primary election in Luzerne County stunned voters when machines from Dominion Voting Systems failed to display ballots for Republican voters, instead displaying a header that said “Official Democratic Ballot.” Earlier this past week, the Luzerne County’s Council voted unanimously to ask the district attorney’s office to launch an investigation into those “errors.”

One council member was not present for the vote to look into the Dominion machines used.

Rand Paul Demolishes Dems Over Billionaire Bailout: ‘Isn’t There Some Remnant of Decency in Congress?’

Poor Jeff Bezos.

His space flight company, Blue Origin, just lost out on a $2.89 billion NASA contract to build a system to land astronauts on the moon in 2024, according to a Fox Business report.

Bezos, who recently became the wealthiest man on the planet, lost to Elon Musk’s SpaceX. NASA reported that the SpaceX bid was lower than Blue Origin’s “by a wide margin,” Fox noted.

Sen. Maria Cantwell, a Democrat from Washington, where Blue Origin is headquartered, and Sen. Roger Wicker, a Republican from Mississippi, sought to soften the blow by adding an amendment to the $130 billion “Endless Frontier Act.”

According to the Senate website, this legislation seeks to strengthen “national competitiveness in science, research, and innovation to support the national security strategy.” The bill is designed to boost our ability to compete with China.

Trump blasts Biden for ‘destroying our country’

Former President Donald Trump blasted President Biden on his handling of China, the Middle East and the crisis at the southern border, saying his successor is “destroying our country.”

“All he had to do is nothing,” the former president said on Newsmax’s “Dick Morris Democracy” on Saturday. “We won’t have a country; they’re destroying our country.”

Trump said his administration’s work on the Mexican border was overturned by Biden and created the situation that exists there today.

“If he would have done nothing, we would have had right now the strongest border in history,” Trump told Dick Morris.

Understanding the origin of covid-19 is the only way to prevent future pandemics, scientist says – The Washington Post

Baylor University’s Peter Hotez adds his voice to a chorus that includes prominent Democrats and Republicans,

“There’s going to be COVID-26 and COVID-32 unless we fully understand the origins of COVID-19. This is absolutely critical,” Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Hotez said that he believes the US needs to do more than launch an intelligence investigation into theories that the virus emerged naturally from animals or escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China.

“I’m personally of the opinion that we’ve pushed intelligence as far as we can,” Hotez said, saying that the US needs to send experts to the original epicenter of the pandemic in Wuhan.

“We need a team of scientists, genealogists, biologists, bat ecologists in the Hubei province for six months to a year-long period and fully unravel the origins of COVID-19.”

On Friday, Customs and Border Protection issued a withhold release order for any goods that come from Dalian Ocean Fishing Company Limited, due to their use of forced labor.

Last year, the Straits Times ran a story detailing the tragic conditions crewmen faced aboard one of Dalian’s boats. It further detailed their experiences with wage withholding and abuse, which resulted in international scrutiny. While CBP has issued WRO’s for individual vessels before, officials said the scope of the allegations mandated larger action.

LIVE UPDATES: 2 teen boys, 3 guns recovered after Ross Park Mall shooting – WPXI

Lt. Brian Kohlhepp with Ross Township Police said there was a fight inside the mall that involved five, possibly six people. Guns were pulled out during the fight and police said some witnesses reported hearing 1-3 gunshots. The fight took place on the second floor of the mall near Guest Services and police said they are looking to see if this was gang-related.

Two juvenile males are in custody in connection with the shooting. Police said they believe both of them are 17 years old. They have not been charged yet, police said. The teens are from the Pittsburgh area, now Ross Township.

Three guns were recovered from inside the mall.

There were no injuries in connection with the shooting or evacuation of the mall.

Police slammed the mall’s parent company, Simon Properties, saying they were at a disadvantage because there are no cameras inside common areas of the mall. Anchor stores and some interior stores have their own cameras. Officials said they are going to have to rely heavily on social media and cell phone videos. If you have any video or pictures, you’re urged to contact Ross Township Police.

Investigators said the evacuation went as smooth as it could and units train for situations like this.

Gavin MacLeod Dead: ‘Love Boat,’ ‘Mary Tyler Moore Show’ Star Was 90 – Variety

Gavin MacLeod, a sitcom veteran who played seaman “Happy” Haines on “McHale’s Navy,” Murray on “Mary Tyler Moore” and the very different, vaguely patrician Captain Stubing on “The Love Boat,” has died. He was 90.

MacLeod’s nephew, Mark See, confirmed his death to Variety. MacLeod died in the early morning on May 29. No cause of death was given, but MacLeod’s health had declined in recent months.

MacLeod played a relatively minor character on ABC hit “McHale’s Navy,” starring Ernest Borgnine, but as newswriter Murray Slaughter, he was certainly one of the stars of “Mary Tyler Moore,” appearing in every one of the classic comedy’s 168 episodes during its 1970-77 run on CBS.

President Biden has released his $6 trillion budget. Here’s what’s in it. – CNNPolitics

(CNN)President Joe Biden on Friday proposed a $6 trillion budget for fiscal year 2022, laying out details of a proposed dramatic increase in federal spending that serves as the underpinning of an economic agenda that seeks to transform the American economy as the country emerges from dual public health and economic crises.

The budget proposal, which is an opening bid in negotiations with Congress and is expected to change before being signed into law, calls for the most sustained period of spending in more than half a century. The White House budget serves more as a marker of administration priorities than a policy blueprint destined to be signed into law. It would invest heavily in Biden’s top priority areas including infrastructure, education, research, public health, paid family leave and childcare.
