Tommy Stargell Jr. was one of two people shot in Uniontown on Wednesday morning
Fayette County 911 dispatchers confirmed the coroner was notified for the incident in which two people were shot, though it was initially unclear if the second person shot was killed.
“Y’all do not understand what y’all took from us, you really don’t,” said Lasha Gipson, Stargell’s mother. “And it hurts and it’s bad. It hurts so bad.”
“I’ll never be the same,” said Payton Smith, Stargell’s sister.
Family members said Stargell was the father of the several children.
As of early Wednesday morning, police had not released details surrounding the shooting.
