PENN HILLS, PA — Two people were found dead Tuesday night in what Allegheny County police say is a murder-suicide.
The police department’s homicide unit responded to a request for assistance after Penn Hills police were called for a welfare check in the 100 block of Conestoga Road at around 6:40 p.m..
First responders found a 62-year-old female victim and a 63-year-old male victim dead from gunshot wounds..
County police said the county Medical Examiner’s Office will make the cause of death and manner determination for each of the deceased.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
