Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a Shotspotter alert just before 3:30 a.m. for shots fired in the 800 block of N. Homewood Avenue, followed by 9-1-1 calls for an individual found shot in the 7300 block of Race Street.
Responding officers located an adult male victim with a gunshot wound to the back. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
Major Crimes is investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
No arrests have been announced.
