NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
One person was killed when they were thrown from a vehicle during a crash on I-70 in Washington County.
The crash happened shortly after 12:00 a.m. Friday at Exit 15 in North Franklin Township.
The Washington County Coroner said the person killed was a passenger in a vehicle that was in the westbound lanes.The coroner said the vehicle hit the back of a tractor-trailer and the driver apparently lost control.
The identity of the person killed has not been released.
State police are investigating.
