Former Aide Claims Gov. Andrew Cuomo Sexually Harassed Her For Years

New York State Gov. Andrew Cuomo was accused by a former aide on Sunday morning of sexual harassment. Lindsey Boylan, who ran against Rep. Jerry Nadler in this year’s primary in New York’s 10th congressional district, was deputy secretary for economic development and a special advisor to the governor from 2015-2018.

Boylan offered few specifics in her allegation, but she appears to be alleging serious misconduct. Boylan is currently running for Manhattan Borough president.

The claim comes as  Cuomo is mired in controversy over his decision to close indoor dining in New York City even though his own data show restaurants account for only 1.4 percent of the spread of the virus. According to the Associated Press, he was also added this week to Joe Biden’s short list for the position of attorney general of the United States.

Trump march brings thousands to DC ahead of Electoral College vote

WASHINGTON – A growing crowd waving American flags and wearing “Make America Great Again” hats gathered Saturday morning in Freedom Plaza in support of President Donald Trump and his unfounded allegations of voter fraud in the presidential election.

The rally was organized by Women for America First, a conservative group that organized last month’s “Stop the Steal” rally, which drew tens of thousands of people.

As many as 15,000 people were expected to attend Saturday’s demonstration, according to the group’s permit. Trump tweeted Saturday morning that he was unaware of the event, “but I’ll be seeing them!”

Crowds gathered to listen to speakers before marching to the Supreme Court, which denied an effort Friday to overturn election results in battleground states and prevent them from casting their Electoral College votes for President-elect Joe Biden on Monday.

Chants of “CNN sucks, Fox News sucks too!” “Four more years!” and “Fight for Trump!” broke out as massive speakers blared pro-Trump songs such as “Real Women Vote For Trump.”

Rudy Giuliani tests positive for coronavirus | Fox News

Rudy Giuliani said he is “getting great care and feeling good” Sunday night after President Trump announced that his personal attorney had tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Thank you to all my friends and followers for all the prayers and kind wishes,” Giuliani wrote. “I’m getting great care and feeling good. Recovering quickly and keeping up with everything.”

Trump tweeted on Sunday that Giuliani had tested positive for “the China Virus.”

The former New York City mayor has been leading the Trump campaign’s legal battle to overturn the 2020 election results in several states.

TRUMP PLANS TO OUTSHINE BIDEN ON INAUGURATION DAY

Giuliani, 76, is the latest official of Trump’s orbit to become infected with the coronavirus over the course of the pandemic. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, senior adviser Hope Hicks, and chief of staff Mark Meadows are among other senior staffers who have tested positive for the virus and since recovered.

City of Pittsburgh has 10% of employees quarantined, Mayor Peduto says

PITTSBURGH —Wednesday, Mayor Bill Peduto announced that 10% of all City of Pittsburgh employees were quarantining because of COVID-19.”We just wanted to let people know that it is getting to the point where it will affect city services,” Peduto said Thursday.

Last week, the city announced recycling collection would be delayed in the East End due to some members of the Environmental Services Department needing to quarantine.

Staff needed to be shifted around in order to collect.

Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 spoke with Lois DeYoung, a North Side resident who said her recycling collection was late, but she’s not complaining.

“It doesn’t annoy me. I think we all need to worry about more important things right now than our trash pickup being a little late,” DeYoung said.

Peduto said the city has contingency plans if up to 40% of the city workers are sidelined.

How the city makes it work is itself a moving target, since the city can’t predict which departments may need to quarantine or how large a potential outbreak may be.

Rep. Omar campaign dumps additional $138K into husband’s firm before cutting ties | One America News Network

Filings from the Federal Election Commission show Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) campaign paid her husband’s consulting firm prior to cutting ties.

According to the recent FEC filings, the team used campaign funds to pay another $138,000 dollars from October 26 until after Omar was re-elected.

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s campaign paid her husband’s media firm an additional $138,000 before severing ties following her successful re-election, federal campaign finance filings show.

Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, raked in millions during the 2020 campaign season from Omar’s campaign through his firm, the E Street Group LLC.

The E Street Group’s latest payments were for $110,000 in digital advertising split among three payouts, $5,000 for digital consulting, $12,000 for fundraising consulting and another $11,118.25 for digital and literature production between Oct. 26 and the day after Election Day, according to the filings.

Rep. Maxine Waters’ daughter pockets $240K from campaign

The daughter of California Rep. Maxine Waters netted around $240,000 this past election cycle — from her mother’s own campaign, new records show.

The congresswoman’s campaigns shelled out payments to Karen Waters for work she did on her 82-year-old mother’s re-election campaign, including “slate mailer management” and “GOTV” — or likely “Get Out the Vote” services.

The payments appear in new Federal Election Commission filings reported by Fox News on Friday.

More than $212,600 in disbursements to Karen Waters are broken down into 26 entries such as “slate mailer management” fees, “office expenses” and “canvassing” between March 2019 and September 2020.

Another $28,150 in payments to Karen Waters occurred in October and November, for “GOTV” and “slate mailer management” fees — though one for $1,000 was simply labeled “Walker payments.”

Maxine Waters, who chairs the House Financial Services Committee, has been scrutinized over payments to her daughter before. Her campaign has paid Karen Waters or her public relations firm Progressive Connections to produce, print and mail slate mailers since 2004, Fox News said.

Longtime confidante says Bill Clinton visited Epstein’s island, likens family’s world to a ‘cult’ | Fox News

A new story is detailing allegedly explosive confrontations and shady activities that took place with former President Bill Clinton and his family, including that he took a 2003 trip to the “pedophile” island of disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

Doug Band, who served as Clinton’s right-hand man for years after he left the White House, told Vanity Fair the 42nd president visited Little St. James, the Carribbean island where Epstein allegedly trafficked his underage victims.

Clinton has denied visiting Epstein’s island, and a spokesperson provided the outlet with “detailed travelogue entries of the period in question that did not contain a visit.”

Epstein’s death last year sent shockwaves through the media as the convicted pedophile partied with some of the world’s most powerful elites. As allegations continued to emerge in the media, a photo surfaced of Clinton apparently receiving a massage from one of Epstein’s alleged victims.

Whistleblowers claiming USPS threw out, backdated ballots before election | Fox News

A conservative law firm says that several whistleblowers from the United States Postal Service have come forward, alleging that thousands of ballots in some states were backdated, tampered with, or tossed out ahead of the 2020 election, to the disservice of President Trump, despite the Justice Department announcing Tuesday it has found no proof of widespread voter fraud.

BARR SAYS DOJ HASN’T FOUND PROOF OF WIDESPREAD VOTER FRAUD

The Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, which has forged ahead with an independent investigation of alleged voter fraud in several key battleground states that Trump lost, has claimed that the FBI asked them to turn over their findings to their Los Angeles Field Office.

The FBI told Fox News that it’s their “standard practice to neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations. As such, we will decline further comment.”

On Tuesday, the Amistad Project said that multiple “whistleblowers” lobbed serious accusations of “multi-state illegal efforts by USPS workers to influence the election in at least three of six swing states.”

“Details include potentially hundreds of thousands of completed absentee ballots being transported across three state lines, and a trailer filled with ballots disappearing in Pennsylvania,” the group said.

One subcontractor alleged that over 100,000 ballots were improperly backdated on the day after the election so that they would be counted in Wisconsin, while another said they witnessed a vendor of Dominion machines and election officials in Pennsylvania tampering with voter machines.

TRUMP: DOJ ‘MISSING IN ACTION’ ON ALLEGED ELECTION FRAUD

The claims bear similarities to debunked lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign in Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, alleging voter fraud in the presidential election.

Attorneys for Trump have alleged, among other things, that Republicans were denied the opportunity to observe the canvassing process, with Trump claiming they have “hundreds and hundreds of affidavits” of witnesses’ personal stories to back their argument up.

Kauffman, Schemel Issue Statement on Reintroduction of House Resolution Regarding Election Integrity | Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus

HARRISBURG – Reps. Rob Kauffman (R-Franklin) and Paul Schemel (R-Franklin) released the following statement regarding the reintroduction of the language in House Resolution 1094 regarding election integrity:

“Tonight, at midnight, in accordance with the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the General Assembly’s 2019-20 Legislative Session concludes. As a result, all current legislation expires. To move forward, any public policy objectives will need to be reintroduced in the 2021-22 Legislative Session.

“Nevertheless, House Resolution 1094 was formally introduced in the 2019-20 session. Pennsylvania’s Nov. 3 General Election was plagued by multiple irregularities and inconsistencies, many of which are currently under review by state and federal courts. We maintain that Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar’s recent certification of the election results was premature in light of the ongoing litigation. Pennsylvania’s presidential electors do not have to be named until Dec. 12, giving additional time for the courts to resolve election disputes before certification must occur. Time, however, was simply not on our side to bring this resolution to a full House vote before the current legislative session ends.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly taunts Joe Biden, tangles with critics – MarketWatch

The tweet didn’t sit well with several critics, including Ian Bremmer, president of consulting firm Eurasia Group, who accused Kelly of missing an opportunity to participate in, at the very least, an attempt to encourage unity in a fractured nation.

“Maybe a good time for everyone with influence to try leading by example,” Bremmer wrote. “That means responsibility for what we each write. Respectfully, @megynkelly, you can do better.”

Her response:

Kelly then tangled with a former Obama speechwriter, who hammered her as “truly pathetic” for her jab at Biden and accused her of sounding “like Donald Trump spreading conspiracies about a basement.”

Again, she hit back:

Graham warns Biden, Pelosi and Schumer would form ‘trifecta from hell’ if Democrats take Senate | Fox News

“A lot’s at stake” in Georgia’s dual Senate runoff elections on Jan. 5, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told “Hannity” Monday night.

Graham explained to guest host Trey Gowdy that if Republicans win one of the two races and keep their majority, he will be chairman of the Senate Budget Committee beginning next year.

However, if Democrats win both races and the Senate is split 50-50 with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris breaking ties, Graham warned that chairmanship would go to Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.

“I may not be your cup of tea out there,” Graham told viewers. “But let me tell you this, I’m a hell of a lot better than Bernie Sanders when it comes to your money.”

Legal adviser for President Trump says these arguments in Sidney Powell’s lawsuits could ‘affect the outcome of the election’ – TheBlaze

Pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell finally came through on her promise to legally challenge the 2020 election Thursday by releasing two highly anticipated lawsuits in Georgia and Michigan alleging widespread fraud. As for what affect the lawsuits will have on the results of the election — which for now show former Vice President Joe Biden defeating President Trump 306-232 in the Electoral College — that remains to be seen.

But at least one Trump campaign legal adviser appears to believe that the claims made in the Georgia lawsuit, if argued successfully before a judge, could overturn the election and grant the president a victory.

What are the details?

In a lengthy Twitter thread Thursday, Harmeet Dhillon, a lawyer and former Republican Party official who is now involved in the Trump campaign’s legal effort, summarized the key claims made in Powell’s suit. She acknowledged that while some of Powell’s major arguments — such as that Dominion Voting Systems software was hacked and that thousands of ballots were pre-printed for Biden — would certainly “be enough to change the election results,” they may be more difficult to prove in court.

Democratic senators warned of potential ‘vote switching’ by Dominion voting machines prior to 2020 election

Four congressional Democrats sent a letter to the owners of Dominion Voting Systems and cited several problems that “threaten the integrity of our elections,” including “vote switching.”

In a December 2019 letter to Dominion Voting Systems, which has been mired in controversy after a human error involving its machines in Antrim County, Michigan, resulted in incorrect counts, Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, and Amy Klobuchar and congressman Mark Pocan warned about reports of machines “switching votes,” “undisclosed vulnerabilities,” and “improbable” results that “threaten the integrity of our elections.”

PA Supreme Court rejects Trump challenge to absentee ballots in Allegheny County | Fox News

President Trump’s attorneys asked the courts to throw out ballots that were missing information.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected the Trump campaign lawsuits Monday that called for the dismissal of more than 8,000 absentee ballots in Allegheny County.

In five lawsuits, President Trump’s attorneys asked the courts to throw out ballots that were missing information, such as a handwritten name or address or the date on which the ballots were signed. In its ruling, the state’s Supreme Court determined the ballots should be considered valid.

“Here we conclude that while failures to include a handwritten name, address or date in the voter declaration on the back of the outer envelope, while constituting technical violations of the Election Code, do not warrant the wholesale disenfranchisement of thousands of Pennsylvania voters,” the ruling said.

PERDUE, LOEFFLER BACK TRUMP CALL FOR GEORGIA RECOUNT, MORE SIGNATURE MATCHING

In addition, the state Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling that had invalidated 2,349 ballots in Allegheny County over missing information. The ruling was a setback for Trump as the state’s counties move forward with efforts to certify the Pennsylvania vote.

Georgia election audit finds 3,039 more uncounted ballots in 2 counties

More than 3,000 uncounted ballots turned up in Georgia as the state is conducting an audit of the 2020 presidential election.

As the hand-tallying continues, officials in Fayette County unearthed 2,755 ballots that had not been included in the original count.

GEORGIA INVESTIGATING VOTE COUNTING DELAYED BY FLOODING IN DEMOCRATIC COUNTY

“There was an issue where we noticed there were more people on the absentee ballot filed for voting in person in Fayette County than was in the actual reporting,” Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling said, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. “It was discovered today for certain. Because of the audit, we found this.”

Sterling said the problem was the result of several individuals not following the proper procedures.

An additional 284 ballots were found in Walton County. The local Board of Elections chair, Lori Wood, told the Walton Tribune the problem was due to votes being previously uploaded from only one of the two ballot scanners in a precinct.

“We would have discovered it,” Wood said. “Maybe not this week, but we would have discovered it.”

The Walton County ballots boosted President Trump’s lead in the heavily Republican county by 176 votes.

GEORGIA RECOUNT UNEARTHS MORE THAN 2,600 UNCOUNTED BALLOTS IN FLOYD COUNTY: REPORT

The recent findings follow the discovery of more than 2,600 ballots in Floyd County that had not been counted. At the time, Floyd County Republican Party chair Luke Martin called the mishap “concerning” but insisted that it “doesn’t appear to be a widespread issue.”

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer faces possible impeachment proceedings for ‘corrupt conduct’ | Fox News

Three Republican members of Michigan’s House of Representatives introduced a resolution for impeachment against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Wednesday, following the state’s plan to enforce new coronavirus-related restrictions.

“Today I introduced Articles of Impeachment against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer,” Rep. Beau LaFave said on twitter Wednesday.

“The four articles of impeachment against Gov. Whitmer include failing to respect the separation of powers by exercising power granted to the legislative branch, violating the constitutional rights of the people of Michigan, issuing executive orders against the interests of the people and state, and using state resources to reward political allies,” he added.

Nancy Pelosi’s HEROES Act Gives $350M to 50 Richest Zip Codes – Foundation for Economic Education

At some point, when the election chaos is finally settled, Congress will likely turn to passing another COVID-19 stimulus/relief bill. (Despite the last one being plagued by rampant fraud and dysfunction). One starting point for negotiations will be the “HEROES Act,” a $2.2 trillion bill the House passed in October on a party-line vote by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats.

One of the most significant aspects of the HEROES Act is that it allocates nearly $700 billion in federal money for state, local, and tribal governments.

Proponents say this gives localities the funds they need to pay emergency responders and fund programs necessary to protect their communities. Critics point out that much of this money is used to “bail out” blue states that were already mismanaging their budgets and running up large unfunded pension programs before the pandemic.

Indeed, the left-leaning Brookings Institution has projected that “state and local government revenues will decline $155 billion in 2020, $167 billion in 2021, and $145 billion in 2022.” Simple math shows us that the CARES Act gives states and localities hundreds of billions more in federal money than they are actually projected to lose due to pandemic-related decreases in revenue.

This alone should be a red flag. Yet a new analysis also reveals that Pelosi and her fellow “progressives” snuck millions of dollars in cash for some of the nation’s wealthiest zip codes into their emergency COVID-19 package.

Mayor Peduto proposes 2021 Operating and Capital budgets – South Pittsburgh Reporter

Last week, Mayor William Peduto delivered his proposed 2021 Operating and Capital budgets to City Council, and delivered his annual State of the City address.

The $564 million operating budget does not include tax increases and works to avoid layoffs and furloughs of city personnel.

Due to COVID-19 the city has been forced to spend nearly all of the $120 fund balance the city built up through fiscal discipline the past seven years, and is joining cities nationwide seeking federal aid to help pay for the services and safety provided to residents through the ongoing pandemic.

“We made tough decisions to stop public events, close pools, senior centers and rec centers, but still watched as our coworkers and neighbors lost their livelihoods and too often their lives,” the Mayor said in his budget speech.

No Recounts Or Recanvasses To Be Ordered For Any Pa. Statewide Election Races – CBS Pittsburgh

HARRISBURG (KDKA) — Pa. Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar said Friday that recounts or recanvasses will not be ordered in any of the statewide Nov. 3 general election races based on unofficial returns and margins of victory.

This includes the races for President of the United States, Attorney General, Auditor General, and State Treasurer.

In a press release, the Pa. Department of State said that Secretary Boockvar determined that she will not be ordering recounts or recanvasses based on the unofficial returns submitted by all counties. This decision comes as no statewide candidate was defeated by 0.5% or less of the votes cast.

Westmoreland County Commissioner: Election Workers Counting Ballots Are Quitting Because Others Aren’t Wearing Masks Properly – CBS Pittsburgh

GREENSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) – The counting of provisional ballots in Westmoreland County continues. However, the number of people counting is dwindling down as COVID-19 concerns have some election bureau volunteers deciding to stay home for their own health.

“It’s the sheer volume,” said County Commissioner Gina Cerilli. “We have 3,600 provisionals, we’ve never had that many provisionals.”

County Commissioner Cerilli addressed the important task of counting those votes that are still facing the county election board volunteer workers Friday.

“They’re trying the best they can,” said Cerilli.

The best efforts of these volunteers are also challenged by the COVID infection numbers breaking records for the county.

“We started out with 28 provisional board appointees. A lot of them have quit because of COVID,” said Cerilli.

According to county officials, two employees and two volunteers have contracted the potentially-deadly disease with others awaiting test results. Cerilli tells KDKA many of those quitting are walking away simply because others are not taking necessary precautions to stop the spread.

“They’ve quit because their fellow appointees will not wear masks properly and I don’t blame them one bit,” said Cerilli.

As COVID takes its toll, the clock is ticking. The county has just 10 days to certify the election’s result.

“We are low on staff. We added additional appointees to get us through next week, but we’ll see if that’s enough,” said Cerilli.

Michigan voters file federal lawsuit seeking to toss 1.2M ballots

MINNEAPOLIS — The stack of Michigan lawsuits filed in the aftermath of the election is continuing to pile up, with a new one in federal court seeking to toss out some 1.2 million votes in Michigan.

The lawsuit was filed by four voters on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. The litigation seeks to overturn ballots in Washtenaw, Ingham, and Wayne counties. Wayne County has already been the target of a federal lawsuit filed by the Trump campaign one week after the election.

[Follow here for complete election lawsuits coverage]

Those three counties combined represent about 1.2 million votes of the state’s approximately 5.5 million votes cast in this year’s election. The plaintiffs are Lena Bally and Gavriel Grossbard, both of Oakland County, Carol Hatch of Eaton County, and Steven Butler of Jackson County.

The suit contends that “sufficient evidence exists to place in doubt presidential-election results” in the counties listed, specifically “issues with transparency, fraudulent changing of dates, a software glitch, clerical errors, illegal votes, and many other issues and irregularities.”

The document cites dozens of news articles and reports of Republican accusations of fraud in the Michigan election.

The legal relief being sought by the plaintiffs is for the judge to “declare that the inclusion of illegal votes in identified counties violates Voters’ right to vote under the First and Fourteenth Amendment by vote-dilution disenfranchisement” and to invalidate them.

If the long shot lawsuit were successful, it would overturn enough votes to flip the election in President Trump’s favor.

At least two lawsuits alleging electoral wrongdoing were quickly shot down in state court. Prior to the federal lawsuit, a Trump campaign lawsuit in state court was ruled against the day after it was filed. Another lawsuit from a nonprofit group alleging fraud in Wayne County was also ruled against.

President-elect Joe Biden leads Trump in Michigan by nearly 150,000 votes.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has denied that any fraud occurred in her state and has hailed the election as running appropriately and without issue.

“In Michigan, I am proud to confirm that all valid ballots, and only valid ballots, have been counted, securely and accurately, and that our election results reflect the will of the people,” she said soon after the initial results were tabulated.

It is unclear when action will be taken in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan for either the Trump campaign’s federal lawsuit or the lawsuit filed by the four voters seeking to overturn ballots in the three counties.
