MCKEESPORT, Pa. —
A 35-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot multiple times in McKeesport.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Monday on the 300 block of 25th Street.
Investigators said McKeesport Police received a ShotSpotter notification and when medics arrived they found the man in the street.Neighbors on the street tell Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 they were shocked to hear several gunshots.
“It was like 3 a.m. Shots went off and everything went crazy,” Ben Bernardi, who lives on 25th st. said.
Allegheny County police said the victim was targeted through a window while inside his home.
“Through investigation we learned he was inside his home on the couch when an individual shot him through the front porch window multiple times,” said Lt. Venerando Costa of Allegheny County police.
As of early Monday morning, no arrests had been announced.
