PITTSBURGH —
Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed at Station Square late Friday night.
Officers had the area outside the Hard Rock Cafe taped off.
Pittsburgh’s public safety office said officers found a man who had been shot in the pelvis just before midnight. Officers applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, but the man quickly got worse. He was taken to UPMC Mercy, where he later died.The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the victim as 25-year-old David Anthony Utley-Ralph, of Mount Morris.
Officials said police are searching for a smaller U-Haul box truck that fled the scene. There were no descriptions of a suspect or suspects.
