Police in Latrobe say a man was seriously injured in a stabbing on Jefferson Street on Thursday.
It happened around 10 p.m. Police said the incident was the result of a family domestic situation.
The male victim was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
Police said a female has been charged with criminal attempt of homicide and aggravated assault. Chief Richard Bosco said there is no additional threat to the community.
The names of those involved in the incident were not immediately released.
