INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash in Independence Township, Washington County, on Friday morning.
The crash happened a little before 3:15 a.m. near the 700 block of Washington Pike.
The Washington County coroner said Anthony Georgetti, of Avella, lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.The coroner said he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police are investigating the crash.
