Cellphone video shows heavy dark smoke coming from the front of the home on East 17th Avenue.
Firefighters were able to knock down the flames, but East 17th remains blocked off for several hours.
Sources at the scene tell Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that they are looking into space heaters that were inside the second-floor room where the fire started, however, no official cause has been released.
