43-year-old man killed in Westmoreland County crash

CNORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. —

A 43-year-old man was killed in a crash in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, on Saturday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. on the 9300 block of Barnes Lake Road.

The Westmoreland County Coroner said Anthony J. Marsiglio, of North Huntingdon, was driving east on the road when he failed to negotiate a curve, went off the shoulder of the road, and his vehicle then struck a utility pole and overturned several times.

The coroner said Marsiglio was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner also said it appears speed and alcohol were factors in the crash and that a seatbelt was not being used.

Marsiglio was the only person in the vehicle.
