Homicide detectives said the body was found Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office identified the body as Brandon Pfeifer-Davis, 22, of Pittsburgh.
According to police, the body was found along the shoreline of the Neville Chemical Company, which sits near the Ohio River, at about 1:55 p.m.
The medical examiner has not ruled on a cause or manner of Pfeifer-Davis’ death.
