Rescue happened on Saturday night
The man was pulled from the water and carried through the woods.
Firefighters said there have been several serious injuries reported at what’s cammed the “Groveton Swimming Hole” in the past, including people who were impaled on rebar.
The water temperature at the time of Saturday’s rescue was 54 degrees, which leads to concerns about hypothermia.
