Police are urging residents to disregard the alert that was recently sent out to Westmoreland County stating there was a shelter in place.
Troopers Limani and Greenfield on Twitter did confirm that a police incident is underway in Westmoreland County.
Police said the incident is happening on Wencliff Lane in Hill Top Estates and that it is contained to that area.
No further information on the Wencliff incident was immediately available.
