Gunshot Victims Arrive at EMS Headquarters and Local Hospital

At approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound was dropped off at 700 Filbert Street – Pittsburgh EMS Headquarters – by private means. Medic 2 was on site working and unloaded him from the vehicle, which immediately left the area.

Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition with a gunshot wound to his lower leg. Zone 4 officers interviewed him at the hospital where he confirmed the incident happened in McKeesport. McKeesport Police will be handling the investigation.

At roughly the same time, a male gunshot victim arrived at another City hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the arm. He is in stable condition.

It is not known at this time where the incident occurred, but it is not believed to be in Pittsburgh. Zone 2 officers took the report. The investigation is ongoing.
