Woman dies after being found unconscious in car over hillside in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH —A woman has died after she was found unconscious in a vehicle that went over a hillside in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood on Sunday.Emergency responders found the vehicle over a hillside between Oakwood and Haverhill streets around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

First responders said the woman was unconscious in the vehicle. She was extricated and taken to an area hospital. Police said she was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The woman has been identified as Mariah Walker-Collins, 24, of Wilkinsburg.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
