Arnold Palmer Regional Airport to furlough two-thirds of workforce

Approximately 60 of the 90 employees at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport will be furloughed in the coming days, according to airport executive director Gabe Monzo.

Monzo said the layoffs were necessary after Spirit Airlines announced it would be stopping all commercial flights after April 7 due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
