NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. —
Someone who bought a scratch-off lottery ticket at a Westmoreland County gas station hit the jackpot for $1 million.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials said a winning ticket in the Mining for Millions game was sold at BP on Center Highway in North Huntingdon.
Mining for Millions is a $20 scratch-off game that offers top prizes of $1 million.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket must be claimed and validated.
The winner has one year from the game’s end-sale date to do that before the prize expires.
