11-year-old shot in Pittsburgh’s Upper Hill District, caught between gunfire – WPXI

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Police tell Channel 11, an 11-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen after a stray bullet hit him.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on Anaheim Street.

According to officers, the child was injured after getting caught in the crossfire and rushed to an area hospital by a family member.

The child is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been made.
