PITTSBURGH —
What Pittsburgh Public Safety described as a substantial water main break has closed a local road.
The 500 block of Parkwood Road was closed due to the break, which happened around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
This is right on the line of Pittsburgh’s Mount Oliver and Arlington neighborhoods.Penn-American Water is responding and, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety, engineers will be called in to assess the damage to the road at Parkwood Road and Mountain Avenue.
Police were on the scene to redirect traffic.
