The crash happened on Rosedale Street near Tacoma Street.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, responders arrived to find the girl in the road with traumatic injuries. She was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.
