Due to hot weather in the forecast, Pittsburgh Public Schools is activating its extreme heat protocol.
Here is a list of schools that are moving to remote learning as the school district activates its extreme heat protocol.
Samantha Murphy and her family enjoyed Labor Day while cooling off at the Schenley Park Swimming Pool. Instead of going back to the classroom Tuesday, the fifth grader who attends Colfax, will be learning from home.“I like this weather. Although it would be better if we could still go to school but have air conditioning and stuff,” Samantha Murphy said.
“It’s supposed to be like this in August, so I can’t complain too much, but I do wish we didn’t have to go remote and impact all the parents who have work to do,” Lisa Murphy said.
