SHALER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A standoff in Shaler has come to an end.

Police were called to a home on Middle Road around 4 p.m. for reports of a woman barricaded inside.

They spent nearly four hours talking to her and thought she was going to leave the home, but then the police said she took her own life.
