PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating after a man was found shot multiple times in Homewood overnight.
Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls for a man shot in the 7000 block of Idlewild Street around 8:45 p.m.
When police got to the scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.There were no suspect descriptions and the investigation is ongoing.
