PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert this morning that led to finding a woman struck by a car and a man with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police responded to the alert in the 300 block of Minton Street in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood around 5:40 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. Early into the investigation, police learned she was hit by a car.
Police were then notified of a shooting victim at the Sunoco in Esplen, the neighborhood next to Sheraden.
