TOWNSHIP OF HANOVER, Pa. —
A 47-year-old woman was killed when she was hit by a vehicle moments after she was involved in a crash in Washington County on Friday morning.
The crash happened a little after 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 22 in Hanover Township.
The Washington County coroner said Lori Ann Dickey, of Aliquippa, was driving a vehicle traveling east and crossed the center media and entered the westbound lanes, crashing into an oncoming tractor-trailer.The coroner said Dickey got out of her vehicle after the collision, began to approach the operator of the tractor-trailer and was struck by another vehicle.
State police are investigating.
