Car carrier overturns on Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County

Crash happened early Thursday morning

A car carrier ended up on its side during a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Westmoreland County.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes near Irwin.

Crews were lifting each car out of the wreckage individually with a device similar to a crane.

It was initially unclear if there were any injuries.
