A body was recovered from the Ohio River on Thursday afternoon, Pittsburgh Public Safety officials confirmed.
Officials said a survey crew found the body in the water near the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority around 2:45 p.m.
River Rescue crews transported the body to its North Shore boathouse for transfer to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner, officials said.The investigation is ongoing. No other details have been released.
