PITTSBURGH —A man convicted of first-degree murder was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without parole, the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office said.

Kolbrin Holyfield, 27, of West Mifflin, was found guilty by Judge Beth Lazzara following a non-jury trial in July.

Police said Dahrique Smith, 25, of West Mifflin, was shot at the Rowdy Buck bar on East Carson Street in Pittsburgh’s South Side neighborhood in May 2017.
