ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
Three people were transported by medical helicopter after a two vehicle crash in Westmoreland County Sunday.
Westmoreland County 911 confirmed the crash happened on I-70 at the Matthew Smelser Memorial Bridge in Rostraver Township. Three medical helicopters were called to the scene.
According to a Facebook post by the Rostraver Central Fire Department, one person was ejected, one person was entrapped and one vehicle went over the side of the bridge.I-70 eastbound will be closed between exits 46 and 49 for investigation.
No details on victims or the cause of the crash have been released.
