PENN HILLS, Pa. —
A man was shot and killed in Penn Hills late Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened near Mt. Carmel Road and Calmar Drive.
Neighbors report hearing multiple gunshots and said the victim, who police confirmed was part of a landscaping crew, was shot while he was cutting grass.According to an update from police, the victim was a 24-year-old man from Wilkinsburg. Officials believe he was targeted.
Police said the suspect is believed to be wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans and last was seen running towards a nearby cemetery.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating.
