Pittsburgh Public Safety said police responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 1100 block of West North Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
Investigators found a man shot in leg who was in the road on Sheffield Street.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is still alive.
Police said a suspect reportedly ran away, but it’s unclear in what direction.
Police are still investigating.
