An accident early Wednesday morning in South Park has an intersection closed.
A vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Brownsville Road near Wilhelm Avenue, according to Allegheny County emergency officials.
The driver was taken to the hospital; the extent of his injuries were not immediately known.
County officials said Brownsville remained closed between Shang Road and Cochran Mill Road while the utility company repairs the pole.
Police are investigating.
