Jacob Thrower, 36, facing several charges
Police said Jacob Thrower, 36, got into an argument with another man and later went into the other man’s apartment while that other man was in bed.
Police said Thrower swung an ax through the doors and walls and struck the victim with the blade, threatening to kill him.
Police said the victim escaped to a nearby apartment for help.
Thrower, who police said was visibly intoxicated, is charged with aggravated assault and other offenses.
