Two vehicles involved in crash in Westmoreland County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Route 66 in Washington Township, Westmoreland County.

The crash happened a little before 7 a.m., shutting down both sides of Route 66 in the area of Pleasant Valley Drive and Spring Hill Road.

Police and firefighters were on the scene.

At least one person was taken to the hospital.
