As people are practicing social distancing amid the COVID-19 outbreak, many are looking into getting essential items like groceries via delivery and pick-up services. Even if you’re a die-hard Walmart fan, however, you may not be aware that the store has its own system for ordering pickup.
To help those who may be new to the game, we rounded up everything you need to know before you place your first Walmart order via the grocery app.
How do I place an order for Walmart pick-up or delivery?
Simply go to their Grocery site or download the grocery app from your phone’s app store. There you’ll be prompted to create an account, as well as select a delivery address or pick-up location and a time slot. They recommend you do this before starting an order since spots fill up so quickly. Pickup and delivery availability can vary by location, so this will also let you know if either is available in your area.
