Two people killed in Fayette County crash

Crash happened early Wednesday morning

State police said two people were also taken to the hospital, but it was unclear how they’d doing.

The crash happened after the car was speeding while making a sharp turn, striking a guard rail, flipping and landed on a hillside.

Investigators said all four people were ejected from the car and neither were wearing seat belts.

Police, fire crews, EMS crews and the coroner were all called to the scene and shut down the road four hours.

A reconstruction team is working to learn more specifics, including how fast the car was traveling.

The speed limit on the road is 45 mph.
