Christmas music now playing on Pittsburgh radio stations

A couple of Pittsburgh radio stations kicked off the holidays this week by switching to Christmas music.

A random check of the 3WS “recently played” list on Friday afternoon showed such titles as “Where Are You, Christmas?” by Faith Hill, “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey, “Frosty the Snowman” by The Beach Boys and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” by Michael Buble.

On WISH, the recent song list included “Please Come Home for Christmas” by Eagles, “Step into Christmas” by Elton John, “Run, Rudolph, Run” by Chuck Berry, “Frosty the Snowman” by The Ronettes and “Deck the Halls” by Mannheim Steamroller.
