Water main break causes flooding in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood

Water service is expected to be restored late Saturday afternoon

Officials from Penn American Water said a broken hydrant caused the water main break and flooding on Banksville Road and Crane Avenue.

Allegheny County officials said there are northbound lane restrictions on Banksville Road.

Crews were at the scene working and water service was expected to be restored late Saturday afternoon.
