What a beautiful 26-24 win for the Steelers | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Winning cures everything. At least for a week. But man, the diseased football game we witnessed Sunday at Heinz Field — an inexplicable, 26-24 Steelers victory — sure put that theory to the test.

Start with the officiating. Brad Allen’s crew was awful, whether it was flagging phantom late hits, mangling interference calls or somehow penalizing Indy’s Bobby Okereke for daring to tackle Ryan Switzer on a punt return.

The new interference replay rule continues to confound. Nobody understands it. Nobody knows what replay czar Al Riveron will see, or willfully ignore, back in New York.
