Body found in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood

Investigators called to the scene on Monday morning

body was discovered around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lee Way and Sunrise Avenue.

Investigators on scene said the victim appeared to be a young man in his teens or early 20’s who had suffered at least one gunshot wound to the head.

The identity of the person found dead has not been released.

Authorities had a dark grey Nissan towed away from the scene. Investigators said no bullet holes were in the car.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
