Two seriously wounded in stabbing while firing employee at Mount Washington bar

 

Two men were seriously wounded in a stabbing at a Mount Washington tavern as they were firing a worker late Wednesday night.

The incident took place shortly before 11:30 p.m. at the Bigham Tavern on Bigham Street when an employee — identified as 40-year-old Jaymar Gilbert of Garfield — was in the process of being terminated from his job at the tavern and got into a “physical altercation” with the two supervisors he was talking to, Pittsburgh police said.
