Sunshine Mills — the maker of multiple dogfood brands — has issued a voluntary recall for three of its brands due to potentially elevated levels of Vitamin D — which could make your dog sick.

Evolve Puppy, Sportman’s Pride Large Breed Puppy and Triumph Chicken and Rice Dog Food with the “Best Buy Date Code of November 1, 2018 through November 8, 2019” have all been affected in the recall, the Food and Drug AdministrationOpens a New Window. (FDA) said.

Teen charged in string of Pittsburgh pizza robberies | TribLIVE

Pittsburgh Police arrested a teenager in connection with a string of pizza-delivery robberies around the city’s Elliott neighborhood.

After his arrest, the 17-year-old initially denied his role in the robbery, but eventually confessed, according to an affidavit said.

The suspect is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing before Judge Jeffrey Manning Dec. 5.

Buenos Aires earthquake: Quake hits near Argentina capital as world leaders attend G20 summit | The Independent

An earthquake has struck near Buenos Aires as world leaders including Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Theresa May gathered in Argentina’s capital for the G20 summit.

The 3.8-magnitude quake struck 33km south of the city, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre, where a number of those present at the gathering reported hearing a rumbling sound before seeing “the chandeliers sway slightly”.

Mysterious ripple detected — but not exactly felt — around the world

Gerard Fryer at the University of Hawaii’s Institute of Geophysics and Planetology says the seismic frequency doesn’t match that of an earthquake or even magma moving underground.

9 US Companies Are Going to the Moon! Here Are NASA’s New Partners.

NASA has selected the first batch of U.S. companies to join the agency on its journey to its next destination, the moon, which NASA wants to explore in order to prepare to go on to Mars.

During a public event held today (Nov. 29), the agency unveiled nine new partners that will be designing and building lunar landers aimed at facilitating scientific exploration of the moon. In addition to the specific companies chosen, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine also announced that the program running those contracts — the Commercial Lunar Payload Services program — is now part of the science section of NASA’s bureaucracy, not the human exploration section.

2 shot in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood | TribLIVE

The unidentified victims — an 18-year-old man and a juvenile — were hospitalized.

The adult was shot on Fredonia Street around 9:40 p.m.

The second victim, a juvenile, walked into UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh about two hours later with a gunshot wound.

Crime Stoppers: Police Probe Unsolved West Mifflin Murder « CBS Pittsburgh

WEST MIFFLIN (KDKA) — Investigators need your help in an unsolved murder case in West Mifflin.

Shots rang out on the afternoon of Sept. 3 at the Mifflin Estates.

West Mifflin Police were the first to answer the 911 call that someone had been shot.

The victim was a young man from McKeesport who was shot multiple times.

“When they arrived, they found the victim, 21-year old Brashaun Green, had sustained two gunshot wounds to the head,” said Allegheny County Police Det. Michael Kuma. “He was pronounced deceased a short time later at the local hospital. More than likely, someone heard or saw something that could help us solve this case.”

The Crime Stoppers number is 412-255-8477.

There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Bayer to cut 12,000 jobs and sell brands

Dr Scholl’s and Coppertone are among the consumer brands to be sold by the German company.

The cuts will account for about one in ten workers globally, with a “significant number” going in Germany.

Bayer also plans to sell its animal health division, which could be worth up to €7bn (£6.2bn).
