Trump rally in Las Vegas – CBS News

Trump used the nickname, “Wacky Jacky” for the Democrat in the Nevada race, Jacky Rosen

President Trump addressed supporters at a Make America Great Again rally in Las Vegas on Thursday. His campaign-style event came after he canceled a series of rallies last week in the wake of impacts from Hurricane Florence.

Mr. Trump addressed supporters amid ongoing concern over his pick to fill a vacancy on the the United States Supreme Court. The president has spent much of the week defending Judge Brett Kavanaugh as he faces allegations of sexual misconduct stemming from his time as a high school student in the early 1980’s. He told reporters on Wednesday that Kavanaugh was an “extraordinary man” with an “unblemished record.”

Fox News Is Peddling Conspiracy Theories to Defend Brett Kavanaugh – Rolling Stone

Fox & Friends aired a segment alleging Brett Kavanaugh’s doppelgänger may have carried out the alleged sexual assault on Christine Blasey Ford

It didn’t take long for Kavanaugh apologists to put on their tin foil hats as part of their feverish effort to exonerate Trump’s latest Supreme Court nominee. On Thursday afternoon, the Washington Post published an opinion piece wondering if Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, is so “mixed up” that she confused the judge with someone who looked exactly like him. “As crazy as that sounds, it wouldn’t be unheard of,” columnist Kathleen Parker wrote of a possible mistaken identity.

NBC News’ report on unverified Kavanaugh Facebook allegations is the worst coverage of the news cycle

If MSNBC’s Chris Hayes is guilty of having the worst commentary response to the Brett Kavanaugh sexual assault allegations, NBC News’ Ken Dilanian, Brandy Zadrozny, and Ben Popken are guilty of having the worst news coverage.

The three reporters authored a trash article this week, titled “ Accuser’s schoolmate says she recalls hearing of alleged Kavanaugh incident,” and I am not exaggerating when I say it is trash.
