Just days after a beach umbrella impaled a tourist at the New Jersey shore, a second beachgoer was injured by an umbrella when one pierced her chest.

Ocean City, Md., officials were able to cut off most of the umbrella’s pole before taking the woman to the hospital to remove the rest.
According to Captain Arbin, at PRMC, doctors will perform X-rays and decide the best way to remove the remaining pole.
Her condition is currently unknown at this time, but officials say her injuries are not life threatening.
