Chaska Man Identified in Burnsville Officer-Involved Shooting | KSTP TV – Minneapolis and St. Paul

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified the man shot and killed by Burnsville police last Thursday in a McDonald’s parking lot.

The medical examiner said 38-year-old Map Kong of Chaska died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The incident happened about 6:15 a.m. at a McDonald’s at 2901 Minnesota Highway 13. Police say they received a call about a suspicious person and found a man brandishing a knife.

Five officers were involved.
