Two in custody after Lawrenceville home invasion | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Post-Gazette.com – Pittsburgh police took two juveniles into custody in the investigation of a home invasion Saturday in Lawrenceville.
A city public safety spokeswoman said the two may have been looking to steal a large athletic shoe collection inside the house. The incident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. in the 100 block of 38th Street. Police said the men, both armed, barged their way into the house, where two people were inside. A police SWAT team was called in, and other homes in the neighborhood were evacuated as officers searched for the two young men.
No serious injuries were reported, public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.
