H&M to close SouthSide Works location
Clothing retailer H&M will close its SouthSide Works store June 15, the latest blow to the South Side retail, office, entertainment and residential complex. The Sweden-based company confirmed the closing in a statement released Thursday. It stated that employees will be offered the option of relocating to comparable positions in stores in the surrounding area. H&M is the latest retailer to close at SouthSide Works. The complex earlier lost American Eagle Outfitters, which has its headquarters on the grounds, and BCBG Max Azria.
